Madness weekend

I was extremely busy on Saturday in the garden the place I love to be! Also feeling rather sun burnt.

Since moving here I been wanting to do some hanging baskets but I had to wait for the season for it. Now the local markets are selling bedding plants I knew it was time.

I have crated to hanging baskets and one wall pot. Was enjoyable but quite frustrating as I did one wrong and had to start over again.

I had some bedding plants left over and some terracotta pots that needed to be used. I didn't have a centre piece plant so I went to focus and saved some plants from that horrid company they don't look after or water there plants also they put them on shelves where no sun light can get though so the batch at the front look great but you pull the tray out and there withered and pail due to no sun. But there 50% off so I brought a tall lilly that had a few flowers missing.

In the hanging baskets, wall pot and pots I put trailing lavelia around the edges with the hanging baskets cut holes in the bottom so they can cover the whole basket. My mother grew great hanging baskets and I loved them when growing up. She gave me the tips to follow in her foot steps. I can't wait for them to develop. But must remember to water them.

I weeded the beds as now I know which ones are plant and what are not. Because I didn't grow the bed I had to wait over time to see what comes up. I must maintain the bed quite often as there are strangler plants that come from the neighbours garden. She has been fighting it for years.

I had to pick of the bedding plants that I sowed in spring. This is such a time consuming job and rather boring. But once done I could grow and plant them well. I gave done to the neighbour a cross the road as there developing the whole front yard.
