My Strawberries are in hanging baskets also great to keep pest away!
Just watch out for birds! Put a netting around the basket or paint a stone red like a strawberry and place it near the basket. Birds will mistaken it to a strawberry and get a shock.

Being in hanging baskets stops the fruit for being spoiled by soil splashing on them when it rains or being watered as they can hand over the edge of the basket. If they can't hang over then simply cushion the fruit with straw this also circulates air around the base to stop mild growth on your crop.

I can't wait to get my lips around those strawberries! I have a great crop already! Just need some cream! :)
